Kevin McNaughton joins ‘Loons’ backroom team

There will be a new face in the Forfar Athletic technical area at Gayfield this afternoon after Jim Weir announced the appointment last night of former Scotland cap Kevin McNaughton to his coaching team.

Kevin who recently moved to live in the Forfar area will assist with first team duties as well as taking an active role with the club’s SPFL Development League East side.

Dundee born, Kevin had lengthy spells as a player with both Aberdeen and Cardiff City, also wearing the colours of Bolton Wanderers, Wigan Athletic and latterly Inverness Caledonian Thistle.

He therefore brings with him a wealth of experience to his new role at Station Park.
