Andy Munro returns from loan

Loon’s defender Andy Munro has returned from his loan spell at Ladbrokes League 2 side Clyde, where he had been playing under a temporary transfer agreement since 31st August.
During his time at Clyde, he made 10 League appearances for ‘The Bully Wee’, and was given the Captain’s armband for the last couple of months of his loan period by their new Manager, Danny Lennon, upon his appointment. Andy was, however, ‘cup-tied’ for their two Scottish Cup ties with Keith and East Fife, hoping that he would get play for Forfar in the latter stages of the competition upon his return!
Although Clyde was keen to keep him for longer, Andy is looking forward to coming back to Station Park and, because of his solid performances with the Cumbernauld team, he is keen to re-establish himself at Forfar. Commenting on his most recent run of form he highlighted that “during our last 7 games, we drew 6 of them and only conceded 2 goals in those 6 games. So, I think shows that I helped to tighten up the defence at Clyde and I like to think that I’ll be given a fair chance to get back in the first team at Forfar.”
We look forward to welcoming Andy back and he will be available for the match day squad this Saturday for the game against Albion Rovers.
