Sportsman’s Dinner

Forfar Athletic’s 23rd Annual Sportsman’s Dinner will take place in the Reid Hall on Friday 18th May.

Despite an excellent turnout at a time when similar events are struggling these days, there were a couple of spare tables at the 2017 Dinner, which was nevertheless a huge success and enjoyed by all.

The Directors of FAFC are hopeful that this time round we can be in the superb position of having a sell-out and again an excellent and varied trio of speakers have been engaged, all of whom will be making their first appearance at the event.

Former professional footballer, these days a non league manager, but also a British Welter Weight Boxing Champion with a colourful past  Curtis Woodhouse who is making a big name for himself on the after dinner circuit will be joined  by Sheriff Lindsay Wood renowned for his humour and superb and unique ‘delivery’  for many a year at functions the length and breadth of Scotland and Lancashire based comedian John Lory.

It may be possible to accommodate parties of four/five patrons at split tables.
