Sportsman’s Dinner
[Monday, 05 March 2018 15:07]
A reminder to supporters and friends of the ‘Loons’ that our 23rd Annual Sportsman’s Dinner is due to take place in the Reid Hall on Friday May 18th.
Replies are still awaited from a few of the regular patrons but certainly there looks likely to be two or three spare table available.
A table for ten people costs £400 (£40 per person), but it is possible on this occasion if there was demand that half tables for five guests could be made available at a cost of £200.
A three course meal is provided and the speakers/entertainers this time round are as follows;-
CURTIS WOODHOUSE – Former professional footballer with a handful of English League Clubs who amazingly changed sports to Boxing and went on to have a colourful career in the sport. Now back in non league football management south of the border he is making a big name for himself on the After Dinner circuit.
SHERIFF LINDSAY WOOD – Well established and much sought after speaker on the circuit. Former lawyer in Angus, he is now based at Glasgow Sheriff Court.
JOHN LORY – Lancashire based comedian.
