Following their first training session in preparation for the new season, the ‘Loons’ management team confirmed three more signings including the return of an old favourite.
This boosts the pool numbers to sixteen, at present.
After a lengthy spell with neighbours Brechin City, midfield player Kevin Byers returns to the fold having been originally signed by Neil Cooper from Inverness Caledonian Thistle back in 2001.
Joining Kevin at Station Park, on one year deals, are experienced former Scotland striker Stevie Crawford and midfielder Kevin Motion.
Stevie spent the second half of last season at Cowdenbeath after being relieved of his duties as Player-Manager at Fife rivals East Fife. Kevin moved to Alloa Athletic in the January transfer window after two seasons at Stenhousemuir whom he joined from crack East of Scotland League side Spartans.
Manager Dick Campbell still intends to add to his pool prior to the opening competitive encounters in late July with a couple of loan signings a possibility and a second goalkeeper of course a priority.
