Ross Meechan is ‘Loons’ latest signing

Twenty three year old defender Ross Meechan has today agreed to join Forfar Athletic on a one year deal.

Ross began his career with St. Mirren, before moving to Partick Thistle, joining Stenhousemuir in 2014.

He made 35 starting appearances for the ‘Warriors’ in their promotion winning season which culminated in play-off success last weekend against Peterhead.

Ross is another piece of the Jim Weir jigsaw as far as the player pool for next season is concerned with further new faces in the pipeline.
