John Seaton

Many of the ‘older’ school of club officials and supporters would have been saddened to hear of the death of John Seaton in the Strathmore Hospice at the weekend.

No mean goalkeeper himself in his day, John a Chartered Accountant in the town, served the ‘Loons’ as Financial Adviser to the Board for a significant number of years in the eighties and also had a short spell during that period as a Director of the club, this during what was probably the Station Park outfit’s most successful period.

He continued to maintain a keen interest in the club’s results and overall performance.

Our sympathies are extended at this time to his wife Norma and family.
