Jimmy Farquhar

Long-serving club official and former Vice Chairman Jimmy Farquhar has decided to retire as a Director of Forfar Athletic FC.

Jimmy a lifetime supporter of the ‘Loons’ finally agreed to join the Board in the summer of 2005, having been heavily involved in numerous fundraising ventures and other club related matters for many a year prior to that date.

His wisdom and counsel were much admired and appreciated by his fellow Directors throughout his time and as has been well documented he has been also a great benefactor to the Athies cause.

Current Chairman Ross Graham and his fellow officials are delighted that Jimmy who still attends home matches on a fairly regular basis will continue as the Club President but now in an ex officio role.
