Goalkeeper Recalled by Rangers

The Loons have been dealt an early season blow with on loan keeper Grant Adam being recalled by Rangers after only one game with the club.
The Ibrox outfit now require Grant as back up to Alan McGregor and Neil Alexander after a long term injury suffered in training by Scott Gallacher who of course was on loan to Forfar last term.
The recall had to be immediate as Grant had to be re-registered by the Ibrox club this week, with regard to Europa League action, in the worst case scenario of either of their senior keepers receiving an injury prior to their tie with Maribo.
Dick Campbell hopes to bring in a replacement prior to this weekend’s clash with Albion Rovers who are themselves minus two keepers after the double sending off at Gayfield on Saturday past of Derek Gaston and Chris Fahey. Youth team custodian Anton Mordente is expected to be on the bench for tonight’s Ramsden’s Cup tie with Morton. This a game that Adam was not available for in any case as he is with the Scotland Under 21 squad ahead of tomorrow’s clash with Norway.
