Callum Tapping moves to Station Park

Midfield player Callum Tapping who will celebrate his 26th birthday on Wednesday has become Jim Weir’s sixth ‘summer’ signing.
London born, Callum moved with his parents to Stirlingshire a the age of six and spent time within the youth academy’s at Celtic, Hamilton and Hearts, before signing a professional contract with the Tynecastle club in 2012.
During his spell in the Capital City, Callum made thirty-first team appearances, as well as three for the Scotland Under 19 side, also picking up one Under 21 cap.
From Hearts, it was on to a first spell with our neighbours Brechin City prior to a move to Queen of the South.
His time at Palmerston was plagued with injury and he returned to a further stint at Glebe Park last term.
Callum will join up with his new colleagues some of whom will be familiar faces when pre-season training gets underway on the 20th of June.
