Forfar Athletic v Stenhousemuir

The ‘Loons’ will go into tomorrow’s game buoyed by their victory over East Fife on Tuesday night which saw them move three points clear of both Albion Rovers and Stirling Albion at the bottom of the table.
Dick Campbell is likely to field a side along similar lines to Tuesday against the ‘Warriors’ with his options still restricted by injuries to around five first team pool players with David Mowat likely to continue in a stop gap central defensive role. The club had considered recalling Steven Tulloch from his loan spell at Berwick now that the initial 28 day period has been passed, but in the end it was decided that it was better that the club’s longest serving player got another 90 minutes under his belt for the Shielfield Park outfit at Stranraer before returning to the Station Park fold for Tuesday night’s visit to Stirling.
Stenhousemuir who won 3-2 back in August at Station Park, although Forfar went on to record a 2-1 win at Ochilview in January, will be boosted by the signing yesterday on loan till the end of the season of free scoring striker Kenny Deuchar from Livingston.
The Ochilview outfit travel to Station Park on the back of three straight defeats to Brechin, Arbroath and Dumbarton and will be keen to get their efforts to attain a play-off place back on track. They will do so with Manager Davie Irons beginning a two match touchline ban following an appearance before the SFA beaks on Thursday.
