THANKS AGAIN
[Sunday, 15 December 2024 11:59]
First and foremost this Sunday morning a big thank you to the management and players for the entertainment provided yesterday afternoon, the eventual 5-1 score line far from flattering the home side.
Thanks to the home supporters for turning out in good numbers and for the backing they provided from the first whistle.
It is so good to see the smiles back on the faces of the ‘Loons’ faithful and though all realise that we cannot win every game, long may the current re-discovered positivity around the club instigated without doubt by the management team continue.
A big thank you to yesterday’s match sponsor Iain Bett. Iain is a tremendous supporter of the Athies cause and again it was great to see his party rewarded in such fashion on the park. Not surprisingly ‘Rusty’ McLean was their choice as Man of the Match, James Stewart carrying out the presentation honours on Iain’s behalf.
Thanks also to Ryan Todd of Todd Joinery Ltd, Barry Laing and his friends and Aiden Carroll and his mates for their support on the day through take up of a main hospitality package. All three groups were return again patrons and the backing is much appreciated.
A special word of thanks to Fife based accountants James Hair & Co who had a party in the Ian McPhee Lounge. ‘Loons’ Finance Director Raymond Hutt is a senior partner in the company who give great support and administrative back up to the club throughout the year.
Finally thank you to Ian Cameron and his pals who enjoyed the delights of the 1984 Lounge package on a day when therein the atmosphere post match was not surprisingly fairly buoyant.
Haste ye all back.
