Peterhead v Forfar Athletic - Match Information

The ‘Loons’ will head north to the Buchan coast on Saturday first, Peterhead their opponents at the Balmoor Stadium in a William Hill League2 clash.

The home side currently sit in second place in the league table, five points adrift of league leaders East Fife.

The sides have clashed on two occasions to date this term, the ‘Blue Toon’ outfit triumphing courtesy of a late counter by 2-1 at Peterhead in early August, a 1-1 draw the outcome of a hard fought midweek battle at Station Park in mid December.

As has been mentioned on previous occasions, the journey to Peterhead from Forfar has been most certainly shortened time wise since the opening of the Aberdeen by-Pass, so hopefully a fair smattering of ‘Loons’ supporters will consider making the journey. There are a social club and coffee shop on site for pre-match refreshments at the Balmoor Stadium.

Admission to Balmoor is by ticket only which can be purchased from the ticket office in the main car park at the ground from 1pm. onwards on a match day. They can also be purchased online in advance, see the Peterhead official website for details.

Kick-off is at the usual time of 3pm.
