Stirling Albion v Forfar Athletic – Match Information
[Tuesday, 11 February 2025 20:36]

The ‘Loons’ now head into a three game run of away fixtures in the William Hill League2, the first of those on Saturday first against Stirling Albion at the Forthbank Stadium.
While Forfar were going down by the solitary goal of the contest to Edinburgh City on Saturday past, Albion picked up a welcome three points with a 3-1 home win over Elgin City. The ‘Binos’ now sit in fifth place in the table, seven points off the play-off positions.
The sides have already met on three occasions this campaign. Alan Maybury’s side won the league encounter in the central belt in early October 2-1, before the ‘Loons’ triumphed in a penalty shoot-out at Forfar in the Scottish Cup in November following an enthralling 3-3 draw after two hours of ‘red hot’ action. The second league encounter of the season came at Station Park on the last Saturday of 2024, another entertaining encounter ending in a share of the spoils courtesy of a 2-2 draw.
Hopefully a reasonable number of ‘Loons’ supporters will undertake the 130 mile round trip to lend their backing this weekend, the admission prices at Stirling as follows;-
Adults £17
Concessions (65 & over) £12
Students (with appropriate id) £8
