Welcome to the Loons - Martin Rennie

Forfar Athletic are delighted to announce the signing of Martin Rennie on a pre-contract from Clyde.

The 31 year old striker will join the Loons on a one year deal when his contract with the Bully Wee expires in early June, subject to SFA approval.

The big front man, who has spent the last three seasons at Clyde, bagged ten goals, notched four assists and picked up a League Two player of the month award in Hamilton last term.

Rennie also scooped a clean sweep of awards for the Bully Wee last year, picking up the clubs Player, Players player and Goal of the Season awards.

Martin will perhaps best be known to Loons fans for his five years of service and two spells at neighbours Montrose, where he proved to be somewhat of a thorn in the side of Forfar defences and won the League Two title in 2018.

All at Forfar are delighted to have Martin on board for the new season.
