Thanks Again

The William Hill League2 campaign is off and running with it a deserved three points for the ‘Loons’ the match statistics providing ample proof of the home side’s domination on the day.
A big thank you once again to the home support. Despite the game taking place slap bang in the middle of the local holiday period, the attendance was an excellent 651. Hopefully that type of figure will become the normal as the season progresses and hopefully even might even be improved upon. We live in hope.
Our match sponsors yesterday were Club 1885, the revamped Business Club at the Alpha Projects Stadium @ Station Park.
This gives club officials an opportunity to thank all the members of this very supportive enterprise and all were delighted to see their representatives in the Sam Smith Lounge have a grand day out.
To no one’s surprise they chose skipper Stuart Morrison as their Man of the Match, not only for his goal at one end but also his defensive work at the other on the day. That ‘weel kent’ figure in the town Jonathen Smith of Colin M Smith did the presentation honours on his colleagues behalf.

All four hospitality lounges were full to capacity.
Thanks yet again to Alan Davie Transport, Alan Davie and his sons, for their support in this manner, for the Duntrune based haulage contractors the first of their now regular four visits this season either for a hospitality package or as a match sponsor. Remarkable backing indeed!
Arron Myles and his party in the Archie Knox Lounge were certainly in celebratory mood, for obvious reasons, the vast majority employees at Strathmore Water in the town, thanks again for the support.
Keith Thomson and Bill Stirling had groups of friends within the Houston and Kennedy Lounges and again their support is so appreciated. Bill whose group were certainly attired in their ‘Sunday best’ was in fact celebrating a personal milestone, sixty years as a regular on the terraces at Station Park, with hopefully many more campaigns ahead of him?
Next up is a visit to face Clyde who are still resident at New Douglas Park in Hamilton on Saturday first, the next home game at the Alpha Projects Stadium @ Station Park our first fixture in the KDM Evolution Trophy on Tuesday the 12th when Hibernian’s youngsters will be the opponents.
