Scottish Cup tie will go ahead on the 25th of October

‘Loons’ officials can now definitely confirm that our second round tie with Musselburgh Athletic in the Scottish Gas Scottish Cup will take place on Saturday the 25th of October at the Olivebank Arena with a 3pm. kick-off.

This follows confirmation today that BBC Scotland have in fact chosen the all Highland League clash between Formartine United and Buckie Thistle for live Friday night ‘consumption’.

The fixture on the last Saturday of the month will mark the first ever visit by Forfar Athletic to the East Lothian venue and as far as can be ascertained the first time the two sides have met either in friendly or competitive action.
