Forfar Athletic v Edinburgh City – Match Information

The ‘Loons’ play the first of two successive home William Hill League2 fixtures ‘before the bells’ when Edinburgh City for the second time in eleven days will be the visitors to the Alpha Projects Stadium @ Station Park on Saturday first.

The sides of course met in the first knock-out stage of the KDM Evolution Trophy in horrendous overhead conditions on Tuesday the 9th of the month with the home side going through by a margin of 4-2 in a penalty shoot-out following a 1-1 stalemate at the end of ninety minutes.

On Saturday past both sides had to once again endure similar weather conditions and sadly similar score lines. As an injury ravaged Athies side succumbed in the end to the tune of 3-1 down at Annan, City were being well beaten 4-1 in the Capital City by Clyde. Both teams will therefore be keen to get back to winning ways this coming weekend.

The match on Saturday will have the usual 3pm. kick-off.

David McGregor Stand – Adults £16, concessions (14/17 year olds, 65 & over) £10, under 14’s £5

Terracing - Adults £15, concessions(as above) £10, under 14’s £5

However CASH PAYMENT ONLY turnstiles are also available on the day. Forfar Athletic season tickets are of course valid for this fixture.

50/50 tickets will be on sale pre-match in the 1984 Lounge and from vendors within the stadium. The Refreshment Kiosk and the Club Shop both situated within the ground will be open as usual.

The 1984 Lounge will be open to supporters from 12.30pm. till kick-off and again on the final whistle till approximately 8pm.
