KDM Evolution Trophy – Update
[Thursday, 18 December 2025 11:21]

Following their 2-1 victory over Clyde on Tuesday evening in the round of 32 tie in the KDM Evolution Trophy, Queens Park will be the ‘Loons’ opponents in the round of 16.
The fixture against the SPFL Championship side will take place on Tuesday January 6th at the City Stadium, formerly Lesser Hampden with a 7.45pm. kick-off.
Queens goal scorers against the ‘Bully Wee’ were Seb Drozd in the 22nd minute, star man Josh Fowler netting what proved to be the winner early in the second period.
It will be the first time that the paths of the two clubs will have crossed since July of 2022 when the ‘Spiders’ triumphed 4-1 in a group stage League Cup fixture. At that time the Glasgow side were living a ‘nomadic’ existence and the fixture was played at Ochilview, the home of Stenhousemuir FC.
Details of admission prices for the tie on January 6th along with advance ticket sales detail will be passed on to our supporters as soon as they are confirmed.
Prior to that fixture, Jim Weir and his players have of course three important William Hill League2 fixtures to fulfil beginning with this Saturday’s home clash with Edinburgh City, tickets for which are available for online purchase here - https://forfarathletic.ticketco.events/uk/en/m/e/forfar_athletic_v_edinburgh_city_1225
