Welcome to the Loons - Matthew Strachan

Forfar Athletic are delighted to announce the signing of defender Matthew Strachan on a temporary transfer until the end of the season.

Matthew joins on loan from Inverness Caledonian Thistle.

The 20 year old highly rated left sided defender has already made more than 30 appearances for the Caley Jags first team as well as gaining Highland League experience with Brora Rangers and Nairn County.

Matthew, who is equally comfortable at full back and centre half, will add to Jim Weir’s defensive options ahead of our clash against Dumbarton on Saturday.
