Player of the Year Awards 2026

The Forfar Athletic Player of the Year Awards took place at the Invercarse Hotel on Sunday evening, with supporters, players, management and staff coming together to celebrate the 2025/26 season to date.

A fantastic night was had by all in attendance, and naturally spirits were extremely high following a simply incredible afternoon at Station Park on Saturday and with a position in the League 1 play-offs secured. Club Officials wish to sincerely thank all of those who attended and contributed to the event, and who helped to make the evening a success.

The award winners on the night were as follows:

Top Goalscorer: Martin Rennie (presented by the Forfar Athletic Supporters Club)

Goal of the Season: Blair Alston vs Stirling Albion, 14th March 2026 (award sponsored by D & A Factors Ltd)

Players’ Player of the Year: Craig Slater and Jake Sutherland (award sponsored by Fiskens of Forfar)

Directors’ Player of the Year: Gus Mailer (presented by FAFC Chairman Alan Shepherd)

Away Player of the Year: Jake Sutherland (award sponsored by Alpha Projects)

Home Player of the Year: Jake Sutherland (award sponsored by Tannadice Trophies & Engraving)
