Contract Extensions

Forfar Athletic are delighted to announce a trio of contract extensions.

Jamie Richardson has signed a one-year extension.

The contract will keep him at the club until the summer of 2027.

The talented young winger has contributed mainly from the substitute bench this term, making 38 appearances during which he has notched one goal and grabbed an assist.

Jim and Gav are delighted to have Jamie signed up for next term.

Full back Aron Lynas has also committed his future to the Loons, extending his contract until the summer of 2028.

Aron has impressed greatly since signing from Dumbarton at the end of the January transfer window, making 14 appearances and scoring once.

He joins a healthy group of players already signed up for the 2026/27 season.

Fans can expect a full update shortly after the conclusion of our playoff campaign.

Top scorer Martin Rennie has this evening signed a one-year extension to his contract.

Martin has signed on the dotted line after a clause was automatically triggered in his current deal.

He will remain at the Alpha Projects Stadium @ Station Park until at least the summer of 2027 after grabbing 15 goals and six assists in his debut season.
