PRE-SEASON FRIENDLY FIXTURES – Match Arrangements

Following on Marc McCallum’s eagerly anticipated testimonial match on Saturday first, the ‘Loons’ will play three further pre-season fixtures all at Station Park prior to the commencement of competitive ‘hostilities’ with our first Premier Sports Cup tie on Saturday July 11th at Ochilview.
In that trio of fixtures they will come up against opponents from three different leagues, St. Johnstone from the Premiership, Banks O’Dee from the Highland League and Peterhead from the SPFL League One.
The first of those fixtures takes place on Tuesday 30th Junewhen Simo Valakari will bring last season’s SPFL Championship winning outfit of last term to the ‘toonie.’
The sides actually met in a highly entertaining pre-season fixture last term, a 1-1 score line the final outcome.
Admission charges for the visit of the Perth Saints, the match having a 7.45p.m. kick-off have been set at;-
Adults £15
Concessions (65 & over) £10
Under 16’s £5
Forfar Athletic season tickets are of course valid for this fixture.
Ambitious Highland League outfit, the Granite City based Banks O’Dee will be the visitors to Station Park on Saturday week, the 4th of July, the kick-off on this occasion 2p.m.
It will be the first time that the sides have ‘crossed swords’ the Spain Park outfit having finished sixth in their final league standings in April.
Tuesday the 7th of July will see Peterhead head south, the team from the ‘Blue Toon’ having finished up in fifth position in the final SPFL third tier league table in early May.
Their last visit to Forfar ended on league duty in March of 2025, ended in an uninspiring 0-0 draw.
As with the Saints fixture the kick-off for this match will be at 7.45p.m.

Again FAFC season tickets are available for both fixtures.
