The ‘Loons’ continue their pre-season preparations with a home fixture on Saturday first against Highland League side Banks @’Dee.
The match at the Parkgrove Stadium @ Station Park will have a 2p.m. kick-off.
It will be the ambitious Granite City side’s first ever clash with Forfar Athletic as they prepare for a hectic start to their League campaign later in the month and also this season for the first time a handful of fixtures in the KDM Evolution Trophy.
Jim Weir’s squad for the game is likely to be along similar lines to Tuesday past when the Athies showed a fair degree of grit and determination against a strong St. Johnstone outfit, this being minus a handful of potential first team players through injury and holiday commitments.
Saturday’s opponents lost 3-0 at home to Peterhead in a friendly fixture at Spain Park at the weekend, to be fair two of the ‘Blue Toon’ sides counters coming in the closing minutes of the contest.
Reduced Admission will be levied at Saturday’s fixture;-

Concessions (65 & over & 16-18 y/o) £8
Under 16’s £5 (accompanied by a paying adult)
Forfar Athletic Season Tickets are VAILD for this fixture.
CASH payment only turnstiles will be available on the day.
The Refreshment Kiosk within the ground will be open as usual.
1984 Lounge Opening Timings.
The 1984 Lounge situated at the rear of the main stand will be open at Saturday’s match, timings as follows;-
Pre-kick-off – 1p.m. to 2p.m.
The facility will re-open on the final whistle for a minimum period of one hour, thereafter depending on demand!
