Odmar Færø Signs For Loons

Forfar Athletic Manager Dick Campbell has agreed a one year deal with Danish born former Faroe Islands Under 19 and Under 21 international defender Odmar Færø who has arrived in Aberdeen to continue his studies.

The six foot plus 22 year old played for his club B36 Torshavn in both legs of the first preliminary round of the Champions League last month when they lost out on penalties to Irish side Linfield after 210 minutes of football that remained goalless.

The ‘Loons’ now have to wait and see if international clearance will come through in time for the player to be included in the pool for Saturday’s visit to Somerset Park to face Ayr United.
