Forfar Athletic’s recently signed defender Odmar Faeroe made his full international debut for the Faroe Islands in their World Cup tie in Hanover last night against Germany.

The six foot tall defender aquitted himself well in a match shown on ESPN, the home side not surprisingly going on to win 3-0.

In the process, Odmar still to make his Forfar debut without doubt became the first ‘Loons’ player ever to appear in a World cup tie.
