Odmar earns two more caps

The ‘Loons’ central defender Odmar Færø will return to Scotland today having earned another two caps following appearances for the Faroe Islands in their home games with Sweden last Friday and against the Republic of Ireland last night, both games having been played in the Faroese capital of Torshavn.
The Faroes lost both games, although they received a great deal of plaudits for their sterling efforts in going down 2-1 to a late Swedish counter on the Friday. Last night the Irish triumphed 4-1 in front of a crowd of 4,400.
Odmar was in fact given excellent ratings in reports on the Swedish game where he was in direct opposition to Zlatan Ibrahivoic the former Barcelona and AC Milan striker now plying his trade with big spending Paris St. Germain following a high profile move. Ibrahivoic is the only player in the history of the Champions League to have scored for six different clubs in the competition.
