An hour and a half on Saturday? not 3G more!

For all of the fans who turn up on a Saturday and leave at five o clock thinking thats that for the week, on the Station Park 3G surface that is certainly not the case. Since the new surface was installed, the use of this excellent community facility has begun to be fully appreciated by other Clubs and private hires.

Forfar Athletic first and Under 19 teams train on a Tuesday and Thursday evening and Forfar Farmington have times allocated as required. However this leaves a great deal of pitch time available for private hire, time that has been very successfully utilised by The Scottish Football Association, Angus Council Disability Sports, Forfar West End Junior Football Club, Lochside Boys, and Forfar Boys Club, as well as a number of private hires from individuals. The nationwide Soccer Sixes also have a two hour slot on a Sunday evening which is proving popular. We have even had a Football Birthday Party!

As the winter gradually creeps in, the pitch will become even more popular, so if you feel that "The Station Park Experience 3G Pitch" could be the answer to your training or playing requirements, give the Forfar Leisure Centre a call to enquire about availability. But don't wait for too long!!
