Albion rovers v Forfar Athletic - Match Preview
[Monday, 17 December 2012 12:55]
The news from Coatbridge this morning is that Tuesday night’s re-arranged league fixture should go ahead with Cliftonhill playable and the weather set fine for the next 24 hours.
The ‘Loons’ will obviously be keen to quickly erase the memory of the 93rd minute counter from Arbroath’s Derek Holmes which cost them two points on Saturday past. Dick Campbell’s pool for the trip west will be boosted by the return of skipper Mark McCulloch having served his one game suspension against the ‘Lichties’, while Danny Denholm is also fit and ready for action if required.
The match however comes 24 hours to early for Jamie Bishop as his 28 day loan period with Stirling Albion does not expire till Wednesday.
Earlier in the season the home outfit triumphed 4-2 against Tod Lumsden’s side at Station Park, but Cliftonhill has not been a particularly happy hunting ground for Forfar team’s in recent times.
Premier League referee Stephen Finnie will be the man in the middle for a game that kicks off at 7.45 pm.
