Stenhousemuir v Forfar Athletic - Match Preview

The ‘Loons’ will travel to Ochilview tomorrow no doubt still hurting from their second half mauling in Wednesday’s local derby and keen to make amends into the bargain.
They will come up against a Stenhousemuir side who have lost twice in the last week to runaway league leaders Queen of the South at home last Saturday and by a solitary goal at second placed Alloa in midweek.
Dick Campbell has no fresh injury worries to contend with, in fact Keith Gibson is now the only player still on the treatment table. Stephen Tulloch does miss out as he serves the final game of a three match suspension.
The match may however come just to early to see Odmar Faeroe return from his lengthy spell on the sidelines, but he is sure to take part in a friendly against junior opposition on Tuesday of next week.
It will be a surprise however if the management team do not make a change or two following the 4-1 defeat by City.
James Craigen who has been a regular starter since arriving from Partick on loan in October will head back to Firhill after the game, but ‘hot on the heels’ of Willie Robertson extending his stay with the club, goalkeeper Jack Hamilton’s loan spell from Hearts has also been extended at present to mid February.
Jack in fact lives in Stenhousemuir and began his career at the the ‘Warriors’ highly successful youth academy.
Tomorrow’s game will be refereed by second season Grade One official Greg Aitken.
