A disappointing day all round for those of a ‘Loons’ persuasion yesterday, with Stranraer deservedly heading back down the A77 with a deserved three points as their reward from a 3-0 success.
Thanks are due to the Forfar Athletic faithful who turned up to back their side throughout the ninety minutes, although there is no hiding from the fact that the crowd on the day was a disappointment.
Our numbers were also down in the hospitality complex for the visit of the Stair Park outfit, but thankfully we are able to report that the sold-out sign is almost posted for the remainder of the campaign in this regard.
Thanks, though, to the parties organised by Ethan Fordyce and Euan Sinclair who seemed to enjoy their afternoon despite the result.
On the league front, we now head back to Edinburgh on Saturday first for what is always a difficult contest against The Spartans, Annan Athletic, the visitors to the Parkgrove Stadium @ Station Park on the 19th of the month.
