A, to say the least, disappointing end result from Saturday’s visit of Elgin City, but there is little time to dwell on the outcome with a midweek visit to Dingwall on the horizon.
Thanks, in the first instance, in the aftermath of the contest, to the ‘Loons’ supporters in the crowd of 451 for their backing on the day, which, as ever, is so appreciated.
Hopefully a few of the faithful will be able to take in a game or two from the quartet of away fixtures that lie ahead before our next home match on November 7th.
Thanks also to the TC Accountants Group, who were once again our match sponsor on Saturday.
The group have offices throughout Tayside, with their Forfar branch located at Revenswood; the continued support of Paul Crichton and his colleagues is so warmly appreciated.
We trust that Paul’s party enjoyed their afternoon despite the end result, and goal scorer Luca Perrie was their choice as the Athies man of the match.
All four hospitality lounges were full to capacity, and thanks in this regard to Daniel Buchan, Liam Deas, Stuart Gibson, not forgetting former ‘Loons’ stalwart Dougie Craig for organising the groups that supported the club in this manner.
Finally, a thank you to Graeme and Susan Campbell of the Stag Hotel for sponsoring the match ball; their valued support in many different ways throughout the season is much appreciated.
